REGULAMENTO
I – DA REALIZAÇAO
A primeira edição da MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores, acontece entre o dia 01 e o dia 30 de setembro de 2023 no Museu Municipal Dr. João Baptista Gomes Ferraz de Socorro, Estado de São Paulo, Brasil.
Atendendo a solicitação da rede educacional da cidade de Socorro-SP a MITC foi prorrogada até o dia 10 de outubro 2023 para a visita das escolas que não tinham tido agenda até final de setembro para tanto.
Ela será composta por obras de artistas selecionados por edital e por artistas convidados.
A MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores, faz uma homenagem à cidade de Socorro, que é a primeira cidade do Brasil a receber o selo « CittaSlow,» da associação italiana do mesmo nome. Ela foi escolhida entre outros atributos, pela beleza da sua flora e fauna, em meio a Mata Atlântica, nas margens das cachoeiras do rio do Peixe, onde se encontra um visual único, preservado e muito bonito, com os sensíveis líquens vermelhos nas árvores, sabendo-se que eles só se desenvolvem nos locais onde a poluição não chegou ou é quase zero, além de orquídeas, bromélias, samambaias, ipês amarelos, rosas e brancos, bananeiras, e muitas outras árvores nativas entremeando os cafezais em flor. Tucanos, maritacas, jacus, antas, tatus, macacos, se desenvolvem em um braço da Serra da Mantiqueira, uma das mais belas cadeias de montanhas do Brasil, para preservá-la temos em Socorro o projeto de reciclagem de plástico na decoração das “Luzes de Natal”; o Projeto Copaíba que trabalha pela restauração das matas ciliares, e o Piracema, que zela pela saúde de nosso Rio do Peixe. A riqueza de sua cultura também foi fator importante nesta atribuição, a cidade tem um Conservatório Musical que atende mais de 500 alunos, Biblioteca Municipal, Centros culturais, Museu, cinema de rua, todos com extensa programação; além de possuir um potente patrimônio cultural imaterial com um democrático carnaval de rua, tradicional festa da sua Padroeira Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro, festas juninas, cortejo de congada, catira, grupos de moda de viola, benzedeiras, etc.

A MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores vai integrar a programação da edição 2023 do EMACS – Encontro de Música & Artes do Conservatório de Socorro, e é realizada pela Totem Produções, ITC, Instituto Totem Cultural, – ICA, Instituto Cultura & Arte; Museu Municipal, COMUPC; Conselho Municipal de Políticas Culturais; Secretaria Municipal de Turismo; Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e da Prefeitura Municipal de Socorro, SP
II – INSCRIÇAO
Convidamos os artistas a participar da MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores, com obras que façam uma homenagem, à fauna, flora, e à cultura tradicional, da cidade de Socorro, que fizeram com que ela fosse escolhida a primeira « Cittaslow, cidade do bem viver » do Brasil.
A inscrição de obras para participar da Mostra se dará por meio de preenchimento de formulário disponível neste link: Formulário de inscrição , obedecendo os seguintes critérios:
a) A Mostra será presencial e virtual, as obras dos artistas nacionais selecionadas deverão participar das duas versões da mostra.
b) As obras dos artistas internacionais, que não residam no Brasil não precisam ser enviadas para a exposição presencial, elas participarão digitalmente da Mostra, sendo tanto difundidas em tela durante a exposição presencial quanto incluídas na mostra virtual.
c) Poderão inscrever-se artistas brasileiros e estrangeiros maiores de 18 anos, no momento da inscrição.
d) O artista poderá inscrever até duas obras em qualquer formato e técnica, como pintura, escultura, bordado, arte têxtil, aquarela, guache, gravura, colagem, fotografia, instalação, etc, desde que finalizadas entre os anos de 2021 e 2023, e inspiradas pelo tema da mostra exposto mais acima.
e) As obras podem ser bidimensionais ou tridimensionais (como esculturas e instalações), mas devem ter medidas iguais ou inferiores a: 50 (altura) x 50 cm (largura) x 50 (profundidade para as esculturas) cm.
As obras têxteis, bordados, e obras em papel (gravura, colagem, fotografia, aquarela, etc), deverão estar prontas para exposição, ou seja com uma moldura simples ou outro suporte escolhido pelo artista, permitindo sua exposição em parede por exemplo.
As pinturas em tela ou painel, não precisam ser emolduradas. Sugerimos que o artista pinte as laterais das suas pinturas, e se possível usem telas ou painéis virados.
f) As inscrições de obras podem ser realizadas do dia 06 de abril de 2023 até às 23:59:59h (Horário de Brasília) do dia 27 de junho de 2023.
INSCRIÇÕES PRORROGADAS ATÉ ÀS 23:59:59H (HORARIO DE BRASÍLIA) DO DIA 03 DE JULHO 2023.
g) Deverão ser anexados ao formulário de inscrição:# uma foto digital de alta qualidade de cada obra inscrita com as seguintes especificações técnicas: resolução mínima de 300 dpi, e não inferior a 2125 x 2952 pixels. A foto deve ser feita preferencialmente à luz do dia.
h) Inscrevendo-se os artistas declaram automaticamente, que são autores dos trabalhos propostos e têm todos os direitos de exibi-los e reproduzi-los; os artistas assumem toda a responsabilidade por qualquer violação dos direitos de terceiros.
i) No ato da inscrição, o artista assume ter ciência deste « Regulamento », concordando automática e plenamente com todas as suas determinações.
j)Todas as obras inscritas deverão estar em condições de exposição, sem causar danos físicos ao espaço onde serão exibidas. A obra que não estiver de acordo com o regulamento não será exposta, ainda que tenha sido selecionada pela curadoria e comissão de seleção.
k)Não é necessário apresentar a obra com passe-partout, moldura ou base, a não ser que seja imprescindível à compreensão ou à sua apresentação, como é o caso de trabalhos em arte têxtil, bordado e papel, que como dissemos mais acima deverão estar prontas para exposição.
l) O Museu Municipal e a organização da MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores, não contratarão seguro para as obras participando da Mostra, em caso de efetiva necessidade, fica ao encargo do próprio artista a responsabilidade desta contratação para sua(s) obra(s).
m) O Museu Municipal e a organização da MITC, não se responsabilizam por danos ou perdas do trabalho no trajeto do mesmo até as dependências do Museu, e na sua volta ao endereço de origem, mesmo se fará todos os esforços para retornar os trabalhos aos artistas na mesma condição em que foram entregues, examinando cada caso individualmente.
n) São de inteira responsabilidade dos artistas gastos com o envio da obra selecionada.
o) A devolução das obras é de responsabilidade do Museu Municipal e da organização da Mostra. Reiterando que o seguro das obras é opcional, de responsabilidade única e exclusiva de cada artista.
III – SELEÇAO E PREMIAÇÃO
A « Comissão de seleção » da Mostra é composta por profissionais das artes visuais, especialmente convidados para essa finalidade, sendo estes os únicos responsáveis pela seleção dos trabalhos inscritos. A decisão da Comissão de Seleção é soberana.
As obras selecionadas poderão ser entregues pessoalmente ou enviadas através dos Correios ou transportadora, embaladas de forma adequada e segura.
Nenhuma das obras selecionadas, qualquer que seja o motivo alegado, poderá ser retirada antes do encerramento das exposições. Elas somente poderão ser retiradas após o dia 30 de setembro de 2023, deixando o tempo necessário ao Museu Municipal e à organização da Mostra após esta data para embalar as mesmas para o transporte ou envio pelo Correio.
As obras dos artistas residentes no Brasil devem ser encaminhadas e chegar até o dia 11 de agosto 2023 no seguinte endereço:

Como forma de fomentar e valorizar a produção artística, será concedida a seguinte premiação aos artistas nacionais:
Prêmio Exposição
PRÊMIO TOTEM DAS CORES – uma exposição individual produzida pela Totem na cidade de Socorro-SP.
Prêmios Incentivo e Menções Especiais serão atribuídas.
Ao enviar a inscrição, o artista assume estar de pleno acordo com este regulamento, e autoriza o uso de sua imagem ou de qualquer obra sua inscrita e selecionada, seja:
a) para ser reproduzida em catálogo impresso e/ou digital da MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores, ou impressos de divulgação como revistas, livros de fotos, Internet, sites e redes sociais, produções fotográficas, jornais, cartazes, outdoors, periódicos, fascículos, CD-ROM, DVDs, vídeos, multiplataformas parceiras da Mostra ou qualquer outro tipo de material institucional relacionado, de caráter educativo e cultural, podendo a organização distribuí-los gratuitamente a qualquer público, amplo ou restrito;
b) para ser veiculada no Brasil e/ou no exterior, por número ilimitado de vezes, em emissoras de TV, em circuito fechado e/ou aberto, ou em qualquer outro meio de comunicação existente, além dos elencados acima e/ou que venham a ser criados visando a promoção, valorização e documentação da MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores.
IV – DA PROTEÇÃO DE DADOS e USO DE IMAGENS
A inserção dos dados como nome, telefone, endereço, e-mail, bem como o uso de imagens são para uso exclusivo da MITC_Mostra internacional Totem das Cores, visando sua promoção, valorização e documentação, em conformidade com a Legislação vigente sobre Proteção de Dados Pessoais e Uso de Imagens e as determinações de órgãos reguladores/fiscalizadores sobre a matéria, em especial a Lei 13.709/2018 e A Lei n. 9.610/98. SENDO VEDADO O USO PARA OUTRO FIM.
Os casos omissos no presente regulamento serão objeto de análise do Museu Municipal de Socorro SP e da organização da MITC, Mostra internacional Totem das Cores.

REGULATION
I – THE REALIZATION
The first edition of « MITC, International Totem of Colors » exhibition, takes place between the 1st and the 30th of September 2023 at the Municipal Museum Dr. João Baptista Gomes Ferraz from the city of Socorro, State of São Paulo, Brazil.
In response to the request of the educational network in the city of Socorro-SP, MITC was extended until October 10th 2023 for the visit of schools that had not had a schedule until the end of September for this purpose.
It will consist of works by artists selected by public notice and by guest artists.
The « MITC, International Totem of Colors », exhibition, pays tribute to the city of Socorro, which is the first city in Brazil to receive the « CittaSlow,» seal from the Italian association of the same name. It was chosen, among other attributes, for the beauty of its flora and fauna, which develop in an arm of the Serra da Mantiqueira, one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Brazil. To preserve it the city of Socorro has a plastic recycling project in the decoration of the Christmas Lights; the Copaíba Project, which works to restore riparian forests, and Piracema, which looks after the health of the river crossing the city, Rio do Peixe. The richness of its culture was also an important factor in this attribution, the city has a Music Conservatory that serves more than 500 students, Municipal Library, Cultural Centers, Museum, street cinema, all with extensive programming; in addition to having a powerful intangible cultural heritage with a democratic street carnival, tradicionais festas juninas (Tradicional June parties), congadas(1), catira(2), grupos de moda de viola (country music groups), benzedeiras (healers), etc.

MITC, International Totem of Colors, exhibition, will be part of the program of the 2023 edition of EMACS – Music & Arts Meeting of the Music Conservatory of Socorro, and is organized by Totem Produções, ITC, Instituto Totem Cultural, – ICA, Instituto Cultura & Arte; Municipal Museum, COMUPC; Municipal Council of Cultural Policies; Municipal Secretary of Tourism; Municipal Secretary of Culture and City Hall of Socorro, SP.
II – REGISTRATION
We invite artists to participate in MITC, the international Totem of colors, exhibition, with works that pay homage to the fauna, flora, and traditional culture of the city of Socorro, which made it the first « Cittaslow, city of well live» from Brazil.
The registration of works to participate in the Exhibition will be done by completing the form available on this link: “Application form” , obeying the following criteria:
a) The Exhibition will be in person and virtual, the works of selected national artists must participate in both versions of the exhibition.
b) Works by international artists who do not reside in Brazil do not need to be sent to the in-person exhibition, they will participate digitally in the Exhibition, being both broadcast on screen during the in-person exhibition and included in the virtual exhibition.
c) Brazilian and foreign artists over 18 years of age may apply at the time of registration.
d) The artist may submit up to two works in any format and technique, such as painting, sculpture, embroidery, textile art, watercolor, gouache, engraving, installation, etc., as long as they are completed between 2021 and 2023, and inspired by the theme of the above exhibit.
e) Works can be two-dimensional or three-dimensional (such as sculptures and installations), but cannot exceed the dimensions of 50 (height) x 50 cm (width) x 50 (depth). Textile works, embroidery, and works on paper (engraving, collage, watercolor, etc.), must be ready for exhibition.
f) Applications can be made from April 6, 2023 until 23:59:59h (Brasília time) on June 27th, 2023.
REGISTRATION EXTENDED UNTIL 11:59:59 PM (BRASILIA TIME) ON JULY 03, 2023.
g) The following must be attached to the registration form:
# a high quality digital photo of each entry with the following technical specifications: minimum resolution of 300 dpi, and no less than 2125 x 2952 pixels. The photo should preferably be taken in daylight.
h) By registering, artists automatically declare that they are the authors of the proposed works and have all rights to exhibit and reproduce them; the artists assume all responsibility for any infringement of the rights of third parties.
i) Upon registration, the artist assumes to be aware of this «Regulation», automatically and fully agreeing with all its determinations.
j) All submitted works must be in exhibition conditions, without causing physical damage to the space where they will be displayed. Work that does not comply with the regulations will not be exhibited, even if it has been selected by the curatorship and selection committee.
k) It is not necessary to present the work with passe-partout, frame or base, unless it is essential for understanding or its presentation, as is the case of works in textile art, embroidery and paper, which must be ready for exhibition .
l) The Municipal Museum and the organization of MITC, « International Totem of Colors », exhibition, will not contract insurance for the works participating in the Exhibition, in case of actual need, it is up to the artist himself to be responsible for contracting his/her work(s) ).
m) The Municipal Museum and the organization of the Exhibition are not responsible for damage or loss of work on its way to the Museum premises, and on its return to the original address, even if it will make every effort to return the works to the artists in the same condition they were delivered, examining each case individually.
n) The artists are entirely responsible for the costs incurred in sending the selected work.
o) The return of works is the responsibility of the Municipal Museum and the organization of the Exhibition. Reiterating that the insurance of works is optional, the sole and exclusive responsibility of each artist.
III – SELECTION
The Exhibition’s « Selection Commission » is made up of professionals from the visual arts, especially invited for this purpose, who are solely responsible for selecting the submitted works. The decision of the Selection Committee is sovereign.
The selected works can be delivered in person or sent by post or carrier, properly and safely packaged.
None of the selected works, whatever the alleged reason, may be withdrawn before the closing of the exhibitions. They can only be collected after September 30, 2023, leaving the necessary time for the Municipal Museum and the organization of the Exhibition after this date to pack them for transport or mailing.
Works by artists residing in Brazil must be sent and arrive by August 11, 2023 at the following address:

By submitting the entry, the artist assumes he is in full agreement with this regulation, and authorizes the use of his image or any of his works entered and selected, either:
a) to be reproduced in a printed and/or digital catalog of MITC, International Totem of Colors, exhibition or promotional material such as magazines, photo books, Internet, websites and social networks, photographic productions, newspapers, posters, billboards, periodicals, fascicles , CD-ROM, DVDs, videos, multi-platform partners of the Exhibition or any other type of related institutional material, of an educational and cultural nature, the organization being able to distribute them free of charge to any public, broad or restricted;
b) to be aired in Brazil and/or abroad, for an unlimited number of times, on TV stations, in closed and/or open circuit, or in any other existing means of communication, in addition to those listed above and/or that may to be created with a view to promoting, valuing and documenting MITC, the International Totem of Colors, exhibition.
IV – DATA PROTECTION and USE OF IMAGES
The insertion of data such as name, telephone, address, e-mail, as well as the use of images are for the exclusive use of MITC_Mostra Internacional Totem of colors, exhibition, aiming at its promotion, valuation and documentation, in accordance with the current legislation on Data Protection Personal Information and Use of Images and the determinations of regulatory/supervising bodies on the matter, in particular Brazilian Law 13.709/2018 and Brazilian Law n. 9,610/98. USE FOR OTHER PURPOSE IS PROHIBITED.
The cases omitted in this regulation will be analyzed by the Municipal Museum of Socorro SP and the organization of MITC, « International Totem of Colors », exhibition.
